RA Dr. Mattia Tonella

After obtaining his law degree from the University of Basel in 1999, Mattia Tonella completed his internship for the bar exam at law firms Böckli Bodmer & Partner, Delbrück Schürmann Delvoigt, and the court of criminal law in Basel. In 2001, he received his license to practice law in the canton of Basel and in 2002, he earned his doctorate in both civil and common law at the University of Basel with a dissertation in the field of national and anglo-saxon civil procedure.
From 2002 to 2010, Mattia Tonella worked in Zurich, first as a lawyer at Wenger & Vieli law firm until 2006, and then as legal counsel at UBS Investment Bank.

Mattia Tonella has been working at Molo Avvocati since May 2010 and became a partner at the firm in 2015.
In 2019, Mattia Tonella became the first in the canton of Ticino to receive the diploma of specialist SAV inheritance law.
