Jan Poulie

Jan Poulie is co-founder and vice-president of Theodora Foundation. Theodora is a Swiss NGO that was founded in 1993 to help sick and disabled children. Thanks to the pioneering spirit and openness of its founders, Theodora is now active in 8 countries and has become a recognized leader in this field. Today, Theodora is proud to provide moments of joy to over 300,000 children every year.

Jan Poulie is a member of the boards of all international departments. He is responsible for and leads marketing & communication, IT, infrastructure, and logistics for the group. He played a key role in Theodora's expansion strategy and was the driving force behind the successful acquisition of Theodora Switzerland's offices and the provision of real estate for the foundation. Over the years, he has gained extensive experience in establishing trusts and foundations and has become a true reference in this matter.

Over the past 15 years, Jan Poulie has acquired extensive knowledge of the Swiss pension system. From 2010 to 2017, he was a member of the executive committee of the Swiss Pension Fund "Fondation Collective Trianon - Genesia". He was directly involved in the merger and integration process between Trianon & Genesia. In the last three years, he also contributed to the implementation of a new investment strategy that significantly reduced administrative costs and increased returns. He is also a special advisor and executive consultant of RH FINANCE GmbH, a Switzerland-based independent wealth management company.

Jan Poulie speaks six languages and has over 25 years of experience in international business in various fields. During these years, he has built a global network of contacts. Before founding Theodora Foundation in memory of his parents, he worked as an IT consultant for the United Nations, IUCN, WWF, and several private clients. He has a degree in software engineering from ECO-Inf. in Geneva.
